Zombie Love aka J.R.

Zombie Love Art exists because circus arts changed my life, and I think they can change other people's too.

I'm a Colorado-based aerialist, and I found this amazing sport and community in 2016 after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I was looking for a way to train and use my body fully and after taking my first aerial class I was hooked. What started as an obsession quickly turned into something my body actually needed. Training in circus arts keeps me strong and more ready to handle whatever nonsense my disabilities throw at me.

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a concentration in performance and intermedia (art school talk for mixing everything together), and a Master's degree in Art Education. I started this company to bring that same sense of possibility and hope to audiences and to other performers, whether that's through a show that stops a room or a class that helps someone find strength they didn't know they had.
